How Hard Could It Possibly Be To Drive Down the Street?

Typical early morning on Ventura Blvd.  Nobody Around.   Two cars met.  Police and firetrucks came.   How hard can it be just to drive down the street?  In The Valley with competition from cell phones -  text machines -  Pokemon Go -  evidently it's pretty hard.

I was recently stopped coming out of a parking lot waiting for a chance to pull out when I got rear ended.  I had been in the stopped position for five minutes.  The excuse?  'I had to call my sister who is in the hospital.'    Did you want to join her?

We Have No Reports of an Outage in Your Area, Sir.

One unfortunate thing about My Valley is the internet service provided by Time Warner Cable.    I recently had an outage.  After about an hour with support telling me there was no outage in my area, I went outside while on hold to see these workmen on my street.   They told me there was an outage reported hours ago and they were fixing it.  I put them on the phone with support so they could  be informed there was no outage and move on.    Comedy ensued.
